Kevin Klau is the VP & Group Executive of the Danaher Water Quality Platform (www.danaher.com), which consists leading companies including Hach, ChemTreat, Trojan Technologies, OTT HydroMet, Sea-Bird & McCrometer. He became the Group Executive of Danaher’s Water platform in May 2019. Prior to this role, Kevin served for the past five years as the President of Hach, a global leader that delivers analytical instrumentation, chemistry and software for municipal and industrial customers with a mission to ensure water quality for people around the world.
Kevin joined Danaher in 2002 and spent his first seven years in a variety of leadership roles in the Industrial Technologies segment. Kevin spent the next three years at Danaher’s Corporate offices in Washington, DC serving as the VP of Corporate HR, before joining Hach in 2012 as SVP, Global Business Units.
In addition to Kevin’s professional responsibilities, he plays a key role in partnerships with several water non-profits, including Water Mission (www.watermission.org), a global leader that provides safe water and sanitation systems in developing communities, disaster relief areas and refugee camps around the world. He also chairs the Board of Defy Colorado (www.defycolorado.org), a non-profit that is focused on breaking the cycle of mass incarceration in the US by transforming the lives of people with criminal histories and community members through their collaboration along the entrepreneurial and employment journey.
Kevin holds an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame.
